Fun little date night spot. Food and service was okay (we wondered if that was only because it was the last night and things seemed funky.) Overall we agreed this would be a great place for small or large groups of people. The drinks were pretty decent.
The food and drinks was a little hit or miss but the location is great and the staff was great. I think it would be great to come here with a group.
The drinks were good. Mainly paying for the atmosphere / tiki vibe. The food was forgettable and not worth the price at all but our server was very nice.
Excellent place for kids and adults alike. Kids can play in the water while adults enjoy live music, food and drinks. Food options could be better, but its a decent compromise for the atmostphere and the gorgeous setup.
This place has a great atmosphere and location. It has a small pond where kids can swim, a small playground, outdoor sitting by the pond, and live music. Lot of people were dancing and having a great time. Great drink selection. The food could be improved but overall experience was excellent. I would go back again.
Atmosphere was fun filled with a large pond and beach sand for a quick swim but adults were surprised to discover a bar was located near children taking over all of the spaces! You could not find a table geared for "two-four" friends because they were all taken by children and babies in diapers with parents neglecting their kids since there were lifeguards, they figured let the lifeguards be their free babysitter! Yikes!!! The entertainer was very lame with all sleepy music and the featured band afterward were lame too with a singer that was always off key but the people supported them anyway given they were local musicians. I think I was poisoned because my whole face and lips were numb, I got seriously dizzy, my chest and back was in pain. I felt like if I make a wrong move I could die and severe headpain coming on but I forced myself to drink lots of water and remain calm. I was OK after about half hour. It was not due to over drinking given I only had one very small rum drink with the cup filled with mostly ice and I ate a whole meal with it. My fiance was very concerned for me, he said he was in shock to see me looking like I was going to pass out, he was so afraid for me but he did not have his phone to call 911 but I told him I am afraid that if they try to put me in an ambulance I might die because I did not want a single person to move my body. The atmosphere had a bar, couple of t.v.'s, a band and lots of outdoor seating surrounded by a pond but adults would look creepy if they swim since it is taken over by children. One would assume the parents take kids home after dinner hours so that single adults and couples without kids can enjoy a "bar" atmosphere but NOPE, many kids stayed until after sunset.
Great atmosphere... super sunny patio with tall and short tables. Picnic tables on sand with umbrellas. Prompt service with a (masked) smile. Limited menu, food was excellent, we enjoyed the turkey wrap and grilled chicken sandwich which were both fresh and plentiful. Did not use the port-a-potty restroom, but they appeared clean. Newly offering lunch beginning at 11.30am. Plenty of free parking. Very little covered space, so hope it doesn't rain. Beach front currently closed. Casual dress ok. Did not have adult beverages but looked like a large refreshing variety. Live music later in the day and evenings.
I had a friend pick this for a large group outing based on a central location between MA & NH. I'll admit that after I read the reviews, I was a bit concerned. The food and drinks are expensive with a decent choice of pub food. Nacho grande was Grande - good to split 4 ways. The atmosphere is fun, live band, lake swimming, playground for the kids, beach sand around the large deck area, dozens of staff floating around for service, and easy excess to the bar. I'm not sure about going in a small group, but our large group had a great time.
